POSITION: Coordinator, Mobile Medical Services

LOCATION: Base of Operations is Seneca, PA

Adagio Health Mobile Unit Service Region is Armstrong, Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Elk, Forest, Jefferson, McKean, Mercer, Potter, Venango, and Warren counties

REPORTS TO: Sr. Director, Family Planning Programs

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will be responsible for successful oversight and operational management of Adagio Health's mobile medical services project, including both initial start-up phase and on-going coordination of services. Specifically,

Assisting in all phases of preparing the mobile unit for rural health care delivery.
Marketing and public relations for Adagio Health's mobile medical services in twelve (12) rural northwestern Pennsylvania counties. Primary goal of this responsibility is:

  • raise awareness of rural health care disparities related to access
  • develop collaborative relationships and engage the community in mobile reproductive health care services
  • generate support and secure venues for mobile medical unit services throughout the region
  • work with community partners to promote scheduled mobile unit visits so that its services are fully accessed by patients
  • work with Adagio Health team to develop appropriate mobile medical services social media campaigns, promotional flyers and other means of marketing the mobile unit in each community

Monitor and evaluate mobile medical services project in terms of achieving specified goals and objectives. This includes patient satisfaction surveys and community partner surveys.

Develops and maintains metrics reports to measure success.
Coordinate all operational components of the mobile medical unit including:

  • Scheduling the mobile unit throughout the region, ensuring it is routinely booked for delivery of services
  • Work with mobile medical unit clinical staff to assure adequate supplies are available and present on the mobile unit, including ordering and inventorying supplies through central office procedures
  • Work with mobile unit driver to assure routine maintenance on mobile medical unit is being performed in a timely fashion. Identify challenges and barriers to the successful implementation of mobile medical services and provide administration with recommendations for improvements and/or resolution.
  • Develops and implements strategies for improving mobile medical operations based on evaluations, surveys, and partnerships.
  • Provides backup support and assistance on mobile unit as necessary.
    Prepare materials and deliver professional presentations to community partners; participates in community outreach and education events to promote the mobile medical unit.
  • Assist Adagio Health administration in funding applications for support of mobile medical services.
  • Participates in Adagio Health work groups, committees and meetings.
    Other related duties as deemed necessary.

Bachelors Degree in Business, Health Promotion, Social Sciences or other health related field.
Valid driver's license and proof of insurability.
Intermediate computer literacy skills, at least in Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to travel extensively throughout 12-county Pennsylvania region.
Current PA Child Abuse Clearance, State Police and FBI Clearances.

Experience in family planning and reproductive health care operations preferred.
